It's called the Ford SupportBelt™, and Ford is making this innovative seat belt accessory available free of charge, excluding shipping and installation.

A Small Innovation That Can Make a Big Difference

For someone recovering from breast cancer surgery, even everyday activities like riding in a vehicle can become uncomfortable. A traditional shoulder belt may put pressure on sensitive areas of the chest during recovery.

Ford recognized this challenge and developed a solution with input from patients, medical professionals, engineers, designers, and other experts.

The Ford SupportBelt is the first seat belt accessory designed by a U.S. automaker specifically to help mastectomy patients travel more comfortably during recovery.
